This year our employees got together and decided to do a backpack and school supplies drive. Some community members dropped off supplies, some cash.
We raised enough to buy 15 backpacks, fill them with supplies as well as a large stock of various supplies.

When we bought the truck in 2011, we were ecstatic. It was an exciting day. It was a 4wd flatbed and would allow us to do calls in places we had previously had to call in others to assist, or get stuck trying to do it ourselves. TOYS FOR TOTS – For your convenience, we have an official Toys for Tots drop box in our Belmont office right on Route 3, across from Maritime Farms! We would love to fill it for local kids who may not see anything for Christmas otherwise. Cutoff date is December 17. We are open 8:30 – 5:00 M-F.
Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas.

It was a very icy (black ice) morning when I got a call to go out to a friend’s house where reportedly someone had crashed through her wooden fence and sailed across her lawn before coming to a stop.
[ngg src=”galleries” ids=”3″ display=”basic_thumbnail” thumbnail_crop=”0″ maximum_entity_count=”500″]As you can see from the images, the fence was not forgiving to the car that crashed through it – at least that’s what we originally thought. The vehicle ended up being a total loss with the alternator, radiator, radiator support and fender taken out.
Was one of the darndest things I ever saw, that fencepost went clear through the vehicle, through the motor – not BY it – THROUGH IT! – and came out the opposite side of the grill. Fortunately no one was injured – except the [...]
